This is one I would go again, good enough to stop by for a night. (I say one night because I'm not sure why people should stop in Shelby for more than one night..). There are bars and restaurants close by
This is a super nice and clean Hotel. Staff were very nice and accommodating with everything. Has been remodeled, updated and would definitely stay there again. The only thing really missed was continental breakfast. The coffee was way too strong, I made four cups of coffee from one cup! Considering it's summer and high peak travel season, the value of this hotel is very good.
It is a motel 6, nothing much to say here as they're all pretty much the same in my experience, but there are 2 kinds of motel 6- one I would go again, and the other where I wouldn't.
We fully enjoyed our stay here. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Management is very kind and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again and recommend! Thank you Motel 6 :)
You get what you pay for. Cheap price = simple hotel room with no amenities. So it is exactly as I expected. Only thing that needs to change is the sheets. They were very stained and kinda gross looking. Beds were surprisingly comfortable though. On a side note: this has nothing to do with the hotel (or how I rated it), but the whole town pretty much shuts down at 10:00pm. We showed up late around midnight and had to buy gas station snacks for dinner because it's literally the only place open in the entire town. We were very thankful that there were actually microwaves in the hotel room as well (gas station had frozen dinners). So overall not the worst hotel ever, but obviously not the nicest either. Great for a one night stay if passing through.
Nice and clean, quiet air conditioner. Desk service was friendly. Would have been nice to have had a kettle or coffee maker in the room, but all in all pleased with the room. Was nice to have hard wood floors in the room - feels cleaner than carpet.
